حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَاهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: آمِينَ .

The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying; When the Imam says Amin, say Amin, for if anyone’s utterance of Amin synchronnises with that of the angles, he will be forgiven his past sins. Ibn shihab (al Zuhri) said; The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to say Amin (At the end of the Fatihah).

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب امام آمین کہے تو تم بھی آمین کہو، کیونکہ جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین کے موافق ہو گی اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دیے جائیں گے ۔ ابن شہاب زہری کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آمین کہتے تھے۔
