حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: اشْتَكَى أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَشَقَّةَ السُّجُودِ عَلَيْهِمْ إِذَا انْفَرَجُوا، فَقَالَ: اسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ .

The Companions of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم complained to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم regarding the difficulty (they felt) when they spread (their arms out) during prostration. So he replied: '(Use your) knees to help you.

صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شکایت کی کہ جب لوگ پھیل کر سجدہ کرتے ہیں تو سجدے میں ہمیں تکلیف ہوتی ہے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: زانو ( گھٹنے ) سے مدد لے لیا کرو ۔
