حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَى صَوْتِهِ وَيَشْهَدُ لَهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ، وَشَاهِدُ الصَّلَاةِ يُكْتَبُ لَهُ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ صَلَاةً وَيُكَفَّرُ عَنْهُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا .

The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: The muadhdhin will receive forgiveness to the extent to which his voice reaches, and every moist and dry place will testify on his behalf; and he who attends (the congregation of) prayer will have twenty-five prayers recorded for him and will have expiation for sins committed between every two times of prayer

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مؤذن کی بخشش کر دی جاتی ہے، جہاں تک اس کی آواز جاتی ہے ۱؎، اور اس کے لیے تمام خشک و تر گواہی دیتے ہیں، اور جو شخص نماز میں حاضر ہوتا ہے اس کے لیے پچیس نماز کا ثواب لکھا جاتا ہے اور ایک نماز سے دوسری نماز کے درمیان جو کوتاہی سرزد ہوئی ہو وہ مٹا دی جاتی ہے ۔
