حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ،عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: كَانَ يُؤَذَّنُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ،وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ ثُمَّ سَاقَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ.

The call to the (Friday) prayer was made at the gate of the mosque in front of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم when he sat on the pulpit, and of Abu Bakr and Umar رضی اللہ عنہما . The narrator then repeated the same tradition as reported by Yunus.

جمعہ کے روز جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر بیٹھ جاتے تو آپ کے سامنے مسجد کے دروازے پر اذان دی جاتی تھی اسی طرح ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے دور میں بھی مسجد کے دروازے پر اذان دی جاتی۔ پھر راوی نے یونس کی حدیث کی طرح روایت بیان کی۔
