حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، فَقَالَ أَصَلَّيْتَ يَا فُلَانُ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: قُمْ فَارْكَعْ .

I came (to the mouse) while the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was giving the (Friday) sermon. He asked: Did you pray, so-and-so? He replied: No. He said: Stand and pray.

ایک شخص جمعہ کے دن ( مسجد میں ) آیا اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دے رہے تھے، تو آپ نے فرمایا: اے فلاں! کیا تم نے نماز پڑھ لی ہے؟ ، اس نے کہا: نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو اٹھ کر نماز پڑھو ۔
