حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، وَالنُّفَيْلِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ بَيْنَ مَقَامِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ مَمَرُّ عَنْزٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: الْخَبَرُ لِلنُّفَيْلِيِّ.

The distance between the place where the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم stood and the qiblah (i.e. the sutrah or the wall of the mosque) was as much as to allow a goat to pass. Abu Dawood said: This is the version of An-Nufaili.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کھڑے ہونے کی جگہ اور قبلہ ( کی دیوار ) کے درمیان ایک بکری کے گزرنے کے بقدر جگہ ہوتی تھی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: حدیث کے الفاظ نفیلی کے ہیں۔
