حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَتَانِ كَانَ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ .

( جمعہ کے دن ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دو خطبے ہوتے تھے، ان دونوں خطبوں کے درمیان آپ ( تھوڑی دیر ) بیٹھتے تھے، ( خطبہ میں ) آپ قرآن پڑھتے اور لوگوں کو نصیحت کرتے تھے۔
