حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ قَبْلَ يَدَيْهِ، وَإِذَا نَهَضَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ .

I saw that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم placed his knees (on the ground) before placing his hands when he prostrated himself. And when he stood up, he raised his hands before his knees.

میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا جب آپ سجدہ کرتے تو اپنے گھٹنے ہاتھوں سے پہلے رکھتے ۱؎ اور جب اٹھتے تو اپنے ہاتھ گھٹنوں سے پہلے اٹھاتے۔
