We came down from the mountain pass of Adhaakhir in the company of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. The time of prayer came and he prayed facing a direction of prayer, and we were (standing) behind him. Then a kid came and passed in front of him. He kept on stopping it until he brought his stomach near the wall (to detain it), and at last it passed behind him, or as Musaddad said.

ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ اذاخر کی گھاٹی میں اترے تو نماز کا وقت ہو گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دیوار کو قبلہ بنا کر اس کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھی اور ہم آپ کے پیچھے تھے، اتنے میں بکری کا ایک بچہ آ کر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے سے گزرنے لگا، تو آپ اسے دفع کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ کا پیٹ دیوار میں چپک گیا، وہ سامنے سے نہ جا سکے، آخر وہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے سے ہو کر چلا گیا، مسدد نے اسی کے ہم معنی حدیث ذکر کی۔
