حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ فَجَعَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُعْطِي الْقُرْطَ وَالْخَاتَمَ وَجَعَلَ بِلاَلٌ يَجْعَلُهُ فِي كِسَائِهِ قَالَ فَقَسَمَهُ عَلَى فُقَرَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ .

The women began to give their ear-rings and rings in alms. Bilal رضی اللہ عنہ began to collect them in his garment. He (the Prophet) then distributed them among the poor Muslims.

آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو وہ عورت بالی اور انگوٹھی دینے لگی اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے اپنی چادر میں ڈالنا شروع کیا۔ اس نے کہا: تو اس نے اسے غریب مسلمانوں میں تقسیم کر دیا۔
