I met a person (among the Companion of Prophet) who remained in the company of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم for four years as Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ remained in his company. He reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade that the female should wash with the water left over by the male, and that the male should wash with the left-over of the female. The version of Musaddad adds: That they both take the handful of water together.

میری ملاقات ایک ایسے شخص سے ہوئی جنہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں اسی طرح چار سال تک رہنے کا موقع ملا تھا جیسے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں رہے تھے، وہ کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عورت کو مرد کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے اور مرد کو عورت کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے غسل کرنے سے منع فرمایا۔ مسدد نے اتنا اضافہ کیا ہے: چاہیئے کہ دونوں ایک ساتھ لپ سے پانی لیں ۔
