حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَنْجُسُ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَقَفَهُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ.

The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: When there is enough water to fill two pitchers, it does not become impure. Abu Dawud said: Hammad bin Zaid has narrated this tradition on the authority of Asim ( without any reference to the Prophet)

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: پانی جب دو قلہ کے برابر ہو جائے تو وہ ناپاک نہیں ہو گا ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: حماد بن زید نے عاصم سے اس روایت کو موقوفاً بیان کیا ہے ( اوپر سند میں حماد بن سلمہ ہیں ) ۔
