Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah) • Hadith 326

This is also transmitted by Ibn Abdur-Rahman bin Abza on the authority of his father from Ammar رضی اللہ عنہ . He reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: It would have been enough for you to strike the ground with you hands and then wipe them your face and your hands (up to the wrists). He then narrated the rest of the tradition. Abu Dawud said: This is also transmitted by Shubah from Husain on the authority of Abu Malik. He said: I heard Ammar رضی اللہ عنہ saying so him his speech, except that in this version he added the words: He blew. And Husain bin Muhammad narrated from Shubah on the authority of al-Hakam and in this version added the words: He (the Prophet) struck the earth with his plans and blew.

آپ نے یعنی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: صرف اپنے دونوں ہاتھ زمین پر مار کر انہیں اپنے چہرے اور اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیوں پر پھیر لینا تمہارے لیے کافی تھا ، پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث بیان کی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے شعبہ نے حصین سے، حصین نے ابو مالک سے روایت کیا ہے، اس میں ہے: میں نے عمار رضی اللہ عنہ کو اسی طرح خطبہ میں بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے مگر اس میں انہوں نے کہا: پھونک نہیں ماری ، اور حسین بن محمد نے شعبہ سے اور انہوں نے حکم سے روایت کی ہے، اس میں انہوں نے کہا ہے: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے زمین پر اپنی دونوں ہتھیلیوں کو مارا اور اس میں پھونک ماری۔
