Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah) • Hadith 176

A person made a complaint to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم that he entertained (doubt) as if something had happened to him which had rendered his ablution invalid. He (the Prophet) said: He should not cease (to pray) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell (of passing wind).

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ شکایت کی گئی کہ آدمی کو کبھی نماز میں شبہ ہو جاتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ اسے خیال ہونے لگتا ہے ( کہ اس کا وضو ٹوٹ گیا ) ، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تک کہ وہ آواز نہ سن لے، یا بو نہ سونگھ لے، نماز نہ توڑے ۔
