حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْأُمَمُ»، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَوَّلَ حَدِيثِهِ.

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Peoples would be presented to me (on the Day of Resurrection), and then the remaining part of the hadith was narrated like the one transmitted by Hushaim, but he made no mention of the first portion.

رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’میرےسامنے تمام امتیں پیش کی گئیں ..... ‘ ‘ پھر حدیث کا باقی حصہ ہشیم کی طرح بیان کیا اور ابتدائی حصے ( حصین کےواقعے ) کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔
