وَحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَحَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ هُمْ أَضْعَفُ قُلُوبًا وَأَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً، الْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ، وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ».

The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: There came to you the people from Yemen; they are tender of hearts and mild of feelings, the understanding is Yemenite, the sagacity is Yemenite.

رسو ل ا للہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ تمہارے پاس یمنی لوگ آئے ہیں ، وہ زیادہ کمزور دل اور سینوں میں زیادہ رقت رکھنے والے ہیں ۔ فقہ یمنی ہے اور حکمت ( بھی ) یمنی ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
