وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، وَزَادَ: «وَمَحَاهَا اللهُ وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ.

’’یا اللہ نے اسے مٹا دیا او راللہ کے ہاں صرف وہی ہلاک ہوتا ہے جو ( خود ) ہلاک ہونے والا ہے ( کہ اللہ کے اس قدر فضل و کرم کے باوجود تباہی سے بچ سکا ۔ ‘ ‘
