وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، وَحَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ - وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ: الرَّجُلُ - حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ.

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: No bondsman believes, and, in the hadith narrated by Abdul Warith, no person believes, till I am dearer to him than the members of his household, his wealth and the whole of mankind.

رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ کوئی بندہ ( اور عبد الوارث کی حدیث میں ہے کوئی آدمی ) اس وقت تک مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک میں اسے اس کے اہل و عیال ، مال اورسب لوگوں سے زیادہ محبوب نہ ہوں ۔ ‘ ‘
