The prophet ﷺ said: "No adulterer is a believers at the time he is committing adultery; no thief is a believer at the time he is stealing; no drinking of wine is a believer at the time he is drinking it; but repentance may be acceptance may be accepted afterwards."

HadithAPI (Urdu)

نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ زانی زنا نہیں کرتا کہ جب زنا کر رہا ہو تا ہے تو مومن ہو ، چور چوری نہیں کرتا کہ جب چوری کر رہا ہو تو وہ مومن ہو ، شرابی شراب نہیں پیتا کہ جب وہ پی رہا ہو تو مومن ہو ۔ اور ( ان کو ) بعد میں توبہ کا موقع دیا جاتا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
