حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ الْأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ تَعَالَى: {وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا} [يس: 38]؟ قَالَ: «مُسْتَقَرُّهَا تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ».

I asked the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) the (implication of the) words of Allah, the Exalted: The sun glides to its appointed resting place. He replied: Its appointed resting place is under the Throne.

میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس فرمان کے بارے میں سوال کیا : ’’سورج اپنے مستقر کی طرف چل رہا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ آپ نے جواب دیا : ’’اس کا مستقر عرش کے نیچے ہے ۔
