حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا كَانَ عَامُ الْفَتْحِ، قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى غُسْلِهِ فَسَتَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَاطِمَةُ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ فَالْتَحَفَ بِهِ .

When it was the year of the Conquest (of Makkah), the Messenger of Allah got up to perform a bath and Fatimah رضی اللہ عنہا screened him. Then he took his garment and wrapped himself in it (such that it became like the towel used to dry oneself).

فتح مکہ کے سال نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہانے کا ارادہ کیا، فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے آپ پر پردہ کئے رکھا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہا کر اپنا کپڑا لیا، اور اسے اپنے جسم پر لپیٹ لیا ۔
