حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّمَا أَنَا لَكُمْ مِثْلُ الْوَالِدِ لِوَلَدِهِ، أُعَلِّمُكُمْ إِذَا أَتَيْتُمُ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ، وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا، وَأَمَرَ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ، وَنَهَى عَنِ الرَّوْثِ، وَالرِّمَّةِ، وَنَهَى أَنْ يَسْتَطِيبَ الرَّجُلُ بِيَمِينِهِ .

The Messenger of Allah said: 'I am to you like a father to his son, and I teach you. So when you go to relieve yourselves, do not face the Qiblah or turn your backs towards it.' He ordered us to use three pebbles, and he forbade us to use dung and bones, and he forbade cleaning oneself with the right hand.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں تمہارے لیے ایسا ہی ہوں جیسے باپ اپنے بیٹے کے لیے، میں تمہیں تعلیم دیتا ہوں کہ جب تم قضائے حاجت کے لیے بیٹھو تو قبلے کی طرف منہ اور پیٹھ نہ کرو ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تین پتھروں سے استنجاء کرنے کا حکم دیا، اور گوبر اور ہڈی سے، اور دائیں ہاتھ سے استنجاء کرنے سے منع کیا ۔
