حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُمْرَانَ يُحَدِّثُ، أَبَا بُرْدَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ أَتَمَّ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ فَالصَّلَوَاتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتُ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ .

I heard Humran telling Abu Burdah in the mosque that he had heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan رضی اللہ عنہ narrating that the Prophet had said 'Whoever performs ablution perfectly as Allah has enjoined, then his prescribed prayer will serve as expiation for what is between them.

میں نے حمران کو ابو بردہ سے مسجد میں روایت کرتے ہوئے سنا, عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم کے مطابق کامل وضو کیا، تو اس کی فرض نماز ایک نماز سے دوسری نماز تک کے درمیان ہونے والے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہیں ۔
