The Book of Purification • Hadith 94

HadithAPI (English)

It was narrated that 'Abd Khair said: I saw 'Ali call for a chair and he sat down, then he called for water in a vessel and washed his hands three times, then he rinsed his mouth and nose with one hand, three times. Then he washed his face three times, and his hands three times. Then he dipped his hand in the vessel and wiped his head, then he washed each foot three times. Then he said: 'Whoever would like to see how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Wudu', this is his Wudu'.'

میں نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے کرسی منگائی، پھر وہ اس پر بیٹھے، پھر ایک برتن میں پانی منگایا، اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ تین تین بار دھوئے، پھر ایک ہی ہتھیلی سے تین بار کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی ڈالا، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ تین تین بار دھوئے، پھر برتن میں اپنا ہاتھ ڈبو کر اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، پھر دونوں پیر تین تین بار دھوئے، پھر کہا: جسے خواہش ہو کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا وضو دیکھے تو یہی آپ کا وضو ہے۔
