أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قال: أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى، قال: أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، قال: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قال: حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، عَنْ غُسْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ وَيُخَلِّلُ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى يَصِلَ إِلَى شَعْرِهِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ .

Aishah narrated concerning the Ghusl of the Prophet (ﷺ) from Janabah, that he used to wash his hands and perform Wudu', then he would run (his fingers) through his (hair on his) head so that it reaches all of his hair, then he would pour water over his entire body.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے غسل جنابت کے متعلق مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوتے، وضو کرتے اور اپنے سر کا خلال کرتے یہاں تک کہ ( پانی ) آپ کے بالوں کی جڑوں تک پہنچ جاتا، پھر اپنے پورے جسم پر پانی ڈالتے۔
