The Book of Purification • Hadith 325

It was narrated from Tariq that a man became Junub and did not pray, then he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and mentioned that to him. He said: You did the right thing. Another man became Junub and performed Tayammum and prayed, and he came to him and he said something similar to what he had told the other man - meaning, you did the right thing.

ایک آدمی جنبی ہو گیا، اس نے نماز نہیں پڑھی، تو وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور آپ سے اس کا ذکر کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  تم نے ٹھیک کیا، پھر ایک دوسرا آدمی بھی جنبی ہو گیا، تو اس نے تیمم کر کے نماز پڑھ لی، اور آپ کے پاس آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے بھی ایسا ہی فرمایا جیسا کہ دوسرے سے فرمایا تھا، یعنی تم نے بھی ٹھیک کیا ۔
