The Book of Purification • Hadith 270

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) met him in one of the streets of Al-Madinah while he was Junub, so he slipped away from him and performed Ghusl. The Prophet (ﷺ) noticed he was not there, and when he came he said: 'Where were you, O Abu Hurairah?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you met us but I was Junub, and I did not want to sit in your presence until I had performed Ghusl.' He said: 'Subhan Allah! The believer is not made impure (Najis).'

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ کے راستوں میں سے ایک راستہ میں ان سے ملے، اور وہ اس وقت جنبی تھے، تو وہ چپکے سے نکل گئے، اور  ( جا کر )  غسل کیا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں نہیں پایا، تو جب وہ آئے، تو آپ نے پوچھا  ابوہریرہ! تم کہاں تھے؟  تو انہوں نے جواب دیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ اس حالت میں ملے تھے کہ میں جنبی تھا، تو میں نے ناپسند کیا کہ بغیر غسل کئے آپ کے ساتھ بیٹھوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  سبحان اللہ! ۱؎ مومن ناپاک نہیں ہوتا ۔
