The Book of Tayammum (Rubbing Hands And Feet With Dust) • Hadith 621

Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish رضی اللہ عنہا came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who bleeds continuously and never becomes pure, should I give up the prayer?' He said: 'No, rather that is a vein and it is not menstruation. When the time of your period comes, leave off the prayer, and when it is over, take a bath and wash the blood from yourself and perform the prayer. This is the Hadith of Waki'.

فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں، اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے مسلسل خون آتا رہتا ہے اور میں پاک نہیں ہو پاتی ہوں، تو کیا میں نماز چھوڑ دوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، یہ رگ کا خون ہے، حیض نہیں ہے جب حیض آئے تو نماز ترک کر دو، اور جب وہ ختم ہو جائے تو خون دھو کر ( یعنی غسل کر کے ) نماز پڑھو ۔ یہ وکیع کی حدیث ہے۔
