حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَثَّامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ عَمَّارٌ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ: مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مُلِئَ عَمَّارٌ إِيمَانًا إِلَى مُشَاشِهِ .

'Ammar entered upon 'Ali and he said: Welcome to the good and the purified. I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Ammar's heart overflows with faith (Literally, up to the top of his bones).'

عمار رضی اللہ عنہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گئے تو علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: «طیب و مطیب» پاک و پاکیزہ کو خوش آمدید، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: عمار ایمان سے بھرے ہوئے ہیں، ایمان ان کے جوڑوں تک پہنچ گیا ۱؎۔
