حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ، قَالَ: قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ: عَائِشَةُ ، قِيلَ: مِنَ الرِّجَالِ؟ قَالَ: أَبُوهَا .

It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, which of the people is most beloved to you?' He said: Aishah.' It was asked, 'And among men?' He said: 'Her father.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! لوگوں میں آپ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ محبوب کون ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عائشہ ، عرض کیا گیا: مردوں میں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان کے والد ( ابوبکر ) ۱؎۔
