حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ بَشَّرَاهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا كَمَا أُنْزِلَ، فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ .

Abu Bakr and 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہما gave him the glad tidings that the Messenger of Allah had said: Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an as fresh as when it was revealed, let him recite it like Ibn Umm 'Abd.'

ابوبکرو عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے انہیں بشارت سنائی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: جو شخص چاہتا ہو کہ قرآن کو بغیر کسی تبدیلی اور تغیر کے ویسے ہی پڑھے جیسے نازل ہوا ہے تو ام عبد کے بیٹے ( عبداللہ بن مسعود ) کی قراءت کے مطابق پڑھے ۔
