حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ، يَقُولُ: «لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصْدُقُ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ عَنْهُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ»

He said ‘I heard al-Mughīrah saying: ‘There are no Ḥadīth on authority of Alī رضی اللہ عنہ , may Allah be pleased with him, that are confirmed except from the companions of Abdullah bin Mas’ūd رضی اللہ عنہ.’
