حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ لَا يُخْسَفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَكَبِّرُوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا .

The prophet (ﷺ) said: The sun and the moon are not eclipsed on account of anyone's death or on account of anyone's birth. So when you see that, supplicate Allah, declare His greatness, and give alms

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سورج اور چاند میں گرہن کسی کے مرنے یا جینے سے نہیں لگتا ہے، جب تم اسے دیکھو تو اللہ عزوجل سے دعا کرو اور اس کی بڑائی بیان کرو اور صدقہ و خیرات کرو ۔
