وَحَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَعَ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَأُتِيَ بِهَدِيَّةٍ خُبْزٍ وَلَحْمٍ، فَأَكَلَ ثَلَاثَ لُقَمٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ، وَمَا مَسَّ مَاءً».

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) dressed himself, and then went out for prayer, when he was presented with bread and meat. He took three morsels out of that, and then offered prayer along with other people and did not touch water.

رسول اللہﷺ نے اپنے کپڑے زیب تن فرمائے ، پھر نماز کے لیے نکلے تو آپ کو روٹی اور گوشت کا تحفہ پیش کیا گیا ، آپ نے تین لقمے تناول فرمائے ، پھر لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی اور پانی کو نہیں چھوا ۔
