The Book of Menstruation • Hadith 753

Fatimah bin Abu Hubaish came to the Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌) and said: I am a woman whose blood keeps flowing (even after the menstruation period). I am never purified; should I, therefore, abandon prayer? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Not at all, for that is only a vein, and is not a menstruation, so when menstruation comes, abandon prayer, and when it ends wash the blood from yourself and then pray.

HadithAPI (Urdu)

فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں ایک ایسی عورت ہوں جسے استحاضہ ہوتا ہے ، اس لیے میں پاک نہیں ہو سکتی تو کیا میں نماز چھوڑ دوں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’نہیں ، یہ تو بس ایک رگ ( کا خون ) ہے حیض نہیں ہے ، لہٰذا جب حیض شروع ہو تو نماز چھوڑ دو اور جب حیض بند ہو جائے تو اپنے ( جسم ) سے خون دھو لیا کرو اور نماز پڑھو ۔ ‘ ‘
