وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ شَكَلٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ تَغْتَسِلُ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ مِنَ الْحَيْضِ؟ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ.

Asma' bin Shakal came to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and said: Messenger of Allah, how one amongst us should take a bath after the menstruation, and the rest of the hadith is the same and there is no mention of bathing because of sexual intercourse.

اسماءبنت شکل ؓ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول! جب ہم میں سے کوئی عورت غسل حیض کرے تو کیسے نہائے؟ اور ( اسی طرح ) حدیث بیان کی اور اس میں غسل جنابت کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔
