ہم سے محمد بن عبد العلا نے بیان کیا، ہم سے معتمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے اپنے والد سے، ہم سے ابو عثمان نے بیان کیا، ان سے زہیر بن عمرو نے اور ان سے قبیصہ بن مخارق نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے۔ , خدا اس پر رحمت اور سلامتی عطا فرمائے, اسی طرح.
When this verse was revealed: And warn thy nearest kindred (and thy group of selected people among them) the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) set off till he climbed Safa' and called loudly: Be on your guard! They said: Who is it calling aloud? They said: Muhammad. They gathered round him, and he said: O sons of so and so, O sons of so and so, O sons of 'Abd Manaf, O sons of 'Abd al-Muttalib, and they gathered around him. He (the Apostle) said: If I were to inform you that there were horsemen emerging out of the foot of this mountain, would you believe me? They said: We have not experienced any lie from you. He said: Well, I am a warner to you before a severe torment. He (the narrator) said that Abu Lahab then said: Destruction to you! Is it for this you have gathered us? He (the Holy Prophet) then stood up, and this verse was revealed: Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and he indeed perished (cxi. 1). A'mash recited this to the end of the Sura.

جب یہ آیت اتری : ’’ اور اپنے قریبی رشتہ داروں کو ڈرائیے ‘ ‘ ( خاص کر ) اپنے خاندان کے مخلص لوگوں کو ۔ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ ( گھر سے ) نکلے یہاں تک کہ کوہ صفا پر چڑھ گئے اور پکار کر کہا : ’’وائے اس کی صبح ( کی تباہی ) ِِ ( سب ایک دوسرے سے ) پوچھنے لگے : یہ کون پکا رہا ہے ؟ ( کچھ ) لوگوں نے کہا : محمدﷺ ، چنانچہ سب لوگ آپ کے پاس جمع ہو گئے ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ اے فلاں کی اولاد! اے فلاں کی اولاد ! اے عبدمناف کی اولاد! اے عبد المطلب کی اولاد! ‘ ‘ یہ لوگ آپ کےقریب جمع ہو گئے تو آپ نے پوچھا : ’’تمہارا کیا خیال ہے ہے کہ اگر میں تمہیں خبر دوں کہ اس پہاڑ کے دامن سے گھڑ سوار نکلنے والے ہیں تو کیا تم میری تصدیق کروگے؟ ‘ ‘ انہوں نے کہا : ہمیں آپ سے کبھی جھوٹی بات ( سننے ) کا تجربہ نہیں ہوا ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’تو میں تمہیں آنےوالے شدید عذاب سے ڈرا رہا ہوں ۔ ‘ ‘ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : تو ابولہب کہنے لگا : تمہارے لیے تباہی ہو ، کیا تم نے ہمیں اسی بات کے لیے جمع کیا تھا؟ پھر وہ اٹھ گیا ۔ اس پر یہ سورت نازل ہوئی : ’’ابولہب کے دونوں ہاتھ تباہ ہوئے اور وہ خود ہلاک ہوا ۔ ‘ ‘ اعمش نے اسی طرح سورت کے آخر تک پڑھا ۔
One day the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) climbed the hill of Safa' and said: Be on your guard, and the rest of the hadith was narrated like the hadith transmitted by Usama; he made no mention of the revelation of the verse: Warn thy nearest kindred.

رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک دن کوہ صفا پر چڑھے اور فرمایا : ’’ وائے اس کی صبح ( کی تباہی! ) ‘ ‘ اس کے بعد ابو اسامہ کی بیان کر دہ حدیث کی طرح روایت کی اورآیت : ﴿وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ﴾ اترنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔
He said: Messenger of Allah, have you benefited Abu Talib in any way for he defended you and was fervent in your defence? The Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) said: Yes; he would be in the most shallow part of the Fire: and but for me he would have been in the lowest part of Hell.

I said: Messenger of Allah, verily Abu Talib defended you and helped you; would it be beneficial for him? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Yes; I found him in the lowest part of the Fire and I brought him to the shallow part.

مجھ سے محمد بن حاتم نے بیان کیا، ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے سفیان کی سند سے، انہوں نے کہا: مجھ سے عبد الملک بن عمیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن الحار نے بیان کیا، پھر کہا: مجھ سے عباس بن عبدالمطلب نے بیان کیا، اور ہم سے ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے وکیع نے بیان کیا، سفیان رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابو عوانہ کی حدیث سے ملتا جلتا ہے۔
A mention was made of his uncle Abu Talib before the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) He said: My intercession may benefit him on the Day of Resurrection and he may be placed in the shallow part of the Fire which would reach his ankles and his brain would be boiling.

رسول اللہ ﷺ کےسامنے آپ کے چچا ابو طالب کا تذکرہ کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا : ’’امید ہے قیامت کے دن میری سفارش ان کو نفع دے گی اور انہیں اتھلی ( کم گہری ) آ گ میں ڈالا جائے گا جو ( بمشکل ) ان کے ٹخنوں تک پہنچتی ہو گی ، اس سے ( بھی ) ان کا دماغ کھولے گا ۔ ‘ ‘
Verily, the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: The least tormented of the inhabitants of the Fire would be he who would wear two shoes of Fire and his brain would boil on account of the heat of the shoes.

The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Among the inhabitants of the Fire Abu Talib would have the least suffering, and he would be wearing two shoes (of Fire) which would boil his brain.

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Verily the least suffering for the inhabitants of Fire would be for him who would have two shoes and two laces of Fire (on his feet), and with these would boil his brain as boils the cooking vessel, and he would think that he would not see anyone in a more grievous torment than him, whereas he would be in the least torment.

رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’دوزخیوں میں سے سب سے ہلکے عذاب والا شخص وہ ہو گا جس کےدونوں جوتے اور دونوں تسمے آگے کے ہوں گے ، ان سے اس کا دماغ اس طرح کھولے گا جس طرح ہنڈیا کھولتی ہے ، وہ نہیں سمجھے گا کہ کوئی بھی اس سے زیادہ عذاب میں ہے ، حالانکہ حقیقت میں وہ ان سب میں سے ہلکے عذاب میں ہو گا ۔ ‘ ‘
I said: Messenger of Allah, the son of Jud'an established ties of relationship, fed the poor. Would that be of any avail to him? He said: It would be of no avail to him as he did not ever say: O my Lord, pardon my sins on the Day of Resurrection.

میں نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کےرسول! ابن جدعان جاہلیت کےدور میں صلہ رحمی کرتا تھا اور محتاجوں کو کھانا کھلاتا تھا تو کیا یہ عمل اس کے لیے فائدہ مند ہوں گے؟آپ نے فرمایا : ’’اسے فائدہ نہیں پہنچائیں گے ، ( کیونکہ ) اس نے کسی ایک دن ( بھی ) یہ نہیں کہا تھا : میرے رب! حساب و کتاب کے دن میری خطائیں معاف فرمانا ۔ ‘ ‘
I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) quite audibly and not secretly: Behold! the posterity of my fathers, that is, so and so, are not my friends. Verily Allah and the pious believers are my friends.

میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو بلند آواز سے برسرعام یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : ’’ یقیناآل ابی ، یعنی فلاں میرے ولی نہیں ، میرا ولی صرف اور صرف اللہ تعالیٰ ہے اور نیک مومن ہیں.
The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Seventy thousand (persons) of my Ummah would enter Paradise without rendering an account. Upon this a person said: Messenger of Allah. pray to Allah that He make me one of them. He (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah! make him one of them. Then another stood up and said: Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He make me one of them. He (the Holy Prophet) said: 'Ukkasha has preceded you in this matter.

نبی اکرمﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’میری امت میں سے ستر ہزار ( افراد ) بغیر حساب کے جنت میں داخل ہوں گے ۔ ‘ ‘ ایک آدمی نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول !اللہ سے دعا کیجیے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں شامل کردے ، آپ نے دعا فرمائی : ’’اے اللہ ! اسے ان میں شامل کر ۔ ‘ ‘ پھر ایک اور کھڑا ہو گیا اور کہا : اللہ کے رسول ! اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا فرمائیے وہ مجھے بھی ان شامل کر دے ۔ آپ نے جواب : ’’عکاشہ اس معاملے میں تم سے سبقت لے گئے ۔ ‘ ‘
I heard Abu Huraira narrate this: I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saying a hadith like one narrated by al-Rabi'.

میں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ سے سنی ، انہوں نےکہا : میں نےحضرت ابو ہریرہ سے سنی ، انہوں نےکہا : میں نے رسو ل اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے...... ( آگے ) ربیع کی حدیث کی طرح ( ہے ۔ )
I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saying: A group of my Ummah consisting of seventy thousand persons would enter Paradise; their faces would be as bright as the brightness of the full moon. Abd Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ said: 'Ukkasha bin Mihsan al-Asadi then stood up wrapping the blanket around him and said: Messenger of Allah, supplicate (before) Allah that He should make me one among them. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: O Allah, make him among them. Then stood up a man from the Ansari and said: Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He should make me one among them. The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: 'Ukkasha has preceded you in this matter.

میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کویہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ’’میری امت کا ایک گروہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا ، وہ ستر ہزار افراد ہوں گے ، ان کے چہرے اس طرح چمکتے ہوں گے جس طرح چودھویں رات کو ماہ کامل چمکتا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : ( اس پر ) عکاشہ بن محصن اسدی رضی اللہ عنہ اپنی سرخ ، سفید اور سیاہ دھاریوں والی چادر بلند کرتے ہوئے اٹھے اور عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اللہ سے دعا فرمائیے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں سے کر دے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’اے اللہ ! اسے ان میں سے کردے ۔ ‘ ‘ پھر انصاری کھڑا ہو ا اور کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول! اللہ سے دعا فرمایئے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں سے کر دے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’اس میں عکاشہ تم سے سبقت لے گئے ۔ ‘ ‘
The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Seventy thousand (persons) would enter Paradise as one group and among them (there would be people) whom faces would be bright like the moon.

They (the companions) said: Who would be of those (fortunate persons)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Those who do not cauterise and practise charm, but repose trust in their Lord, 'Ukkasha رضی اللہ عنہ then stood up and said: Supplicate (before) Allah that He should make me one among them. He (the Holy Prophet ﷺ) said: Thou art one among them He (the narrator) said: A man stood up and said: Apostle of Allah, supplicate (before) Allah that He should make me one among them. He (the Prophet said: 'Ukkasha has preceded you (in this matter).

نبی اکرمﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’میری امت کے ستر ہزا اشخاص حساب کے بغیر جنت میں داخل ہوں گے ۔ ‘ ‘ صحابہ کرام نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! وہ کون لوگ ہیں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’وہ ایسے لوگ ہیں جو داغنے کے عمل سے علاج نہیں کراتے ، نہ دم ہی کراتے ہیں اور اپنے رب پر کامل بھروسہ کرتے ہیں ۔ ‘ ‘ عکاشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے اور کہا : اللہ سے دعا فرمائیے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں ( شامل ) کر دے ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’تم ان میں سے ہو ۔ ‘ ‘ ( عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے ) کہا : پھر ایک اور آدمی کھڑا ہوا او رکہنے لگا : اے اللہ کے نبی ! اللہ سے دعا کیجیے کہ وہ مجھے ( بھی ) ان میں ( شامل ) کر دے ، آپ نے فرمایا : ’’اس میں عکاشہ تم سے سبقت لے گئے ۔ ‘ ‘
Verily the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Seventy thousand men of my Ummah would enter Paradise without rendering account. They (the companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Who would be those, Messenger of Allah? He (the Holy Prophet) said: They would be those who neither practise charm, not take omens, nor do they cauterise, but they repose their trust in their Lord.

رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ میری امت کے ستر ہزار لوگ حساب کے بغیر جنت میں داخل ہوں گے ۔ ‘ ‘ صحابہ کرام نے پوچھا : ا ے اللہ کے رسول ! وہ کون لوگ ہیں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’وہ ایسے لوگ ہیں جو دم نہیں کرواتے ، شگون نہیں لیتے ، داغنے کے ذریعے سے علاج نہیں کرواتے او راپنے رب پر پورا بھروسہ کرتے ہیں ۔ ‘ ‘
The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Seventy thousand persons or seven hundred thousand persons (Abu Hazim does not remember the exact number) would enter Paradise holding and supporting one another, and the first among them would not enter till the last among them would enter (therein) ; (they would enter simultaneously) and their faces would be bright like the full moon.

رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’میری امت میں سے ستر ہزار یا سات لاکھ افراد ( ابو حازم کو شک ہے کہ سہل رضی اللہ عنہ نے کون سا عدد بتایا ) اس طرح جنت میں داخل ہوں گے کہ وہ یکجا ہوں گے ، ایک دوسرےکو پکڑے ہوئے ، ان میں سے پہلا فرد اس وقت تک داخل نہیں ہو گا جب تک آخری فرد ( بھی ساتھ ہی ) داخل نہ ہو گا ، اکٹھے ہی ( جنت کے وسیع دروازے سے ) اندر جائیں گے ۔ ان کے چہرے چو دھویں رات کے چاندجیسے ہوں گے ۔ ‘ ‘
