The Messenger of Allah delivered a religious speech on the Day of Sacrifice and said: 'Let those who are present convey to those who are absent. For perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed will understand it better than the one who (first) hears it.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یوم النحر ( دسویں ذی الحجہ ) کو خطبہ دیا اور فرمایا: یہ باتیں حاضرین مجلس ان لوگوں تک پہنچا دیں جو موجود نہیں ہیں، اس لیے کہ بہت سے لوگ جنہیں کوئی بات پہنچائی جاتی ہے وہ سننے والے سے زیادہ اس بارے میں ہوشمند اور باشعور ہوتے ہیں ۔
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم began to lead (the people) in the dawn prayer. He then signalled with his hand: (Stay) at your places. (Then he entered his home). He then returned while drops of water were coming down from him (from his body) and he led them in prayer.

( ایک دن ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فجر پڑھانی شروع کر دی، پھر ہاتھ سے اشارہ کیا کہ تم سب لوگ اپنی جگہ پر رہو، ( پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وہاں سے گھر تشریف لے گئے، غسل فرما کر ) واپس آئے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سر سے پانی ٹپک رہا تھا، اس کے بعد آپ نے انہیں نماز پڑھائی۔
The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessing be upon him) observed: Allah does not shower His blessings from the heaven that in the morning a group of men disbelieve it (to be a blessing from Allah). Allah sends down rain, but they (the disbelievers) say: Such and such star (is responsible for that).

آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’اللہ تعالیٰ آسمان سے برکت ( بارش ) نازل نہیں کرتا مگر لوگوں کا ایک گروہ ، اس کے سبب سے کافر ہو جاتا ہے ، بارش اللہ تعالیٰ اتارتا ہے ( لیکن ) یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں : فلاں فلاں ستارے کے باعث ( اتری ہے ۔ ) ‘ ‘ اور مرادی کی روایت کے یہ ا لفاظ ہیں : ’’فلاں فلاں ستارے کے باعث ( اتری ہے ۔
Narrator: This tradition has been reported by Hammad bin Salamah through the same chain of narrators and conveying a similar meaning. This version adds in the beginning:
He uttered TAKBIR (Allahu akbar), and in the end: when he finished the prayer, he said: I am a human being; I was sexually defiled. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated al-Zuhri from Abu Salamah bin Abdur-Rahman on the authority of Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ . It says: When he stood at the place of prayer, we waited for his utterance of takbir (Allah-u akbar). He went away and said: (remain) as you were. Another version on the authority of Muhammad reporting from the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم says: He uttered takbir (Allah-u-Akbar) and then made a sign to the people, meaning sit down . He then went away and took a bath. This tradition has also been narrated through a different chain. It says: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم uttered takbir (Allah-u-akbar) in a prayer. Abu Dawud said: Another version through a different chain says; The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم uttered takbir (Allah-u akbar).

تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تکبیر تحریمہ کہی ، اور آخر میں یہ ہے کہ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہو گئے تو فرمایا: میں بھی انسان ہی ہوں، میں جنبی تھا ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے زہری نے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کیا ہے، اس میں ہے: جب آپ مصلیٰ پر کھڑے ہو گئے اور ہم آپ کی تکبیر ( تحریمہ ) کا انتظار کرنے لگے، تو آپ ( وہاں سے ) یہ فرماتے ہوئے پلٹے کہ تم جیسے ہو اسی حالت میں رہو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ایوب بن عون اور ہشام نے اسے محمد سے، محمد بن سیرین نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے، اس میں ہے: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تکبیر ( تکبیر تحریمہ ) کہی، پھر اپنے ہاتھ سے لوگوں کو اشارہ کیا کہ تم لوگ بیٹھ جاؤ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چلے گئے اور غسل فرمایا۔ اور اسی طرح اسے مالک نے اسماعیل بن ابوحکیم سے، انہوں نے عطاء بن یسار سے ( مرسلاً ) روایت کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز میں تکبیر ( تکبیر تحریمہ ) کہی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اور اسی طرح اسے ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ: ہم سے ابان نے بیان کیا ہے، ابان یحییٰ سے، اور یحییٰ ربیع بن محمد سے اور ربیع بن محمد نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( مرسلاً ) روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے تکبیر ( تکبیر تحریمہ ) کہی۔
There was (once) a downpour during the life of the Apostle ﷺ Upon this the Apostle (ﷺ) observed: Some people entered the morning with gratitude and some with ingratitude (to Allah). Those who entered with gratitude said: This is the blessing of Allah, and those who entered with ingratitude said: Such and such asterism was right. It was upon this that the verse was revealed: I swear by the setting of the stars to the end and make your provision that you should disbelieve it.

رسول اللہ ﷺ نے دور میں لوگوں کو بارش سے نوازا گیا تو نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ لوگوں میں سے کچھ شکر گزار ہو گئے ہیں اور کچھ کافر ( ناشکرے ) ، ( بعض ) لوگوں نے کہا : یہ اللہ کی رحمت ہے اور بعض نے کہا : فلاں فلاں نوء ( ایک ستارے کا غروب اور اس کے سبب سے دوسرے کی بلندی ) سچی نکلی ۔ ‘ ‘ ( ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ ) فرماتے ہیں ، اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : ’’میں ستاروں کے گرنے کی جگہوں کی قسم کھاتا ہوں ۔ ‘ ‘ ( سے لے کر ) اس آیت تک : ’’ اور تم اپنا حصہ یہ رکھتے ہو کہ تم اس کی تکذیب کرتے ہو ۔ ‘ ‘
Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Qasim said: I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے جو لوگ حاضر ہیں انہیں چاہیئے کہ جو لوگ یہاں حاضر نہیں ہیں، ان تک ( جو کچھ انہوں نے سنا ہے ) پہنچا دیں ۔
The prayer (in congregation) began and people stood in their rows. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came out (from his residence). When he stood at his proper place he recalled that he did not take a bath. He then said to the people: (Remain standing) at your places. Then he returned to his house and came out upon us after taking a bath while the drops of water were coming down from his head. We were standing in the rows (of prayer). This is the version of Ibn Harb. Ayyash reported in his version: we kept on waiting for him while we were standing until he came upon us after he had taken a bath.

( ایک مرتبہ ) نماز کے لیے اقامت ہو گئی اور لوگوں نے صفیں باندھیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے، یہاں تک کہ جب اپنی جگہ پر ( آ کر ) کھڑے ہو گئے، تو آپ کو یاد آیا کہ آپ نے غسل نہیں کیا ہے، آپ نے لوگوں سے کہا: تم سب اپنی جگہ پر رہو ، پھر آپ گھر واپس گئے اور ہمارے پاس ( واپس ) آئے، تو آپ کے سر مبارک سے پانی ٹپک رہا تھا اور حال یہ تھا کہ آپ نے غسل کر رکھا تھا اور ہم صف باندھے کھڑے تھے۔ یہ ابن حرب کے الفاظ ہیں، عیاش نے اپنی روایت میں کہا ہے: ہم لوگ اسی طرح ( صف باندھے ) کھڑے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا انتظار کرتے رہے، یہاں تک کہ آپ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے، آپ غسل کئے ہوئے تھے۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I remember competing over the vessel with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when he and I were using it to perform Ghusl.

میں نے خود کو دیکھا کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( پانی کے ) برتن کے سلسلہ میں جھگڑ رہی ہوں ( میں اپنی طرف برتن کھینچ رہی ہوں اور آپ اپنی طرف کھینچ رہے ہیں ) میں اور آپ ( ہم دونوں ) اسی سے غسل کرتے تھے۔
The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who may have more understanding of it than they do.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کو تروتازہ رکھے جس نے میری حدیث سنی، اور اسے محفوظ رکھا، پھر میری جانب سے اسے اوروں کو پہنچا دیا، اس لیے کہ بہت سے علم دین رکھنے والے فقیہ نہیں ہوتے ہیں، اور بہت سے علم دین رکھنے والے اپنے سے زیادہ فقیہ تک پہنچاتے ہیں ۔
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was asked about a person who found moisture (on his body or clothes) but did not remember the sexual dream. He replied: He should take a bath. He was asked about a person who remembered that he had a sexual dream but did not find moisture. He replied: Bath is not necessary for him. Umm Salim رضی اللہ عنہا then asked: Is washing necessary for a woman if she sees that (in her dream)? He replied: Yes. Woman are counterpart of men.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا کہ ایک شخص ( کپڑے پر ) تری دیکھے اور اسے احتلام یاد نہ ہو تو کیا کرے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ غسل کرے ۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سوال کیا گیا کہ ایک شخص کو ایسا محسوس ہو رہا ہو کہ اسے احتلام ہوا ہے، مگر وہ تری نہ دیکھے، تو کیا کرے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس پر غسل نہیں ہے ۔ یہ سن کر ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: اگر عورت ( خواب میں ) یہی دیکھے تو کیا اس پر بھی غسل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، کیونکہ عورتیں ( اصل خلقت اور طبیعت میں ) مردوں ہی کی طرح ہیں ۔
The Messenger of Allah said: 'Some people open the door to good and close the door to evil, and some people open the door to evil and close the door to good. Glad tidings to those in whose hands Allah places they keys to good, and woe to those in whose hands Allah places the keys to evil.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بعض لوگ خیر کی کنجی اور برائی کے قفل ہوتے ہیں ۱؎ اور بعض لوگ برائی کی کنجی اور خیر کے قفل ہوتے ہیں، تو اس شخص کے لیے خوشخبری ہے جس کے ہاتھ میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے خیر کی کنجیاں رکھ دیں ہیں، اور اس شخص کے لیے ہلاکت ہے جس کے ہاتھ میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے شر کی کنجیاں رکھ دی ہیں ۔
Messenger of Allah. Allah is not ashamed of truth what do you think, if a woman sees what a man sees in dream, should she take a bath or not? The prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم replied: Yes, she should take a bath if she finds the liquid (vaginal secretion) Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا said: Then I came upon her and said her: Woe to you! Does a woman see that (sexual dream)? In the meantime, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came upon me and said: May your right hand be covered with dust! How can there be the resemblance (i.e., between the child and the mother)? Abu Dawud said: A similar version has been narrated by Zubaid, ‘Uqail, Yunus, cousin of Al-Zuhri, Ibn Abi-Wazir, on the authority of al-Zuhr, musan, al-Hajabi, like al-Zuhri, narrated on the authority of Urwah from Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا , but Hisham bin Urwah narrated from Urwah on the authority of Zainab daughter of Abu Salamah from Umm Salamah saying. Umm Sulaim رضی اللہ عنہا came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.

اللہ کے رسول! اللہ عزوجل حق سے نہیں شرماتا، آپ ہمیں بتائیے اگر عورت سوتے میں وہ چیز دیکھے جو مرد دیکھتا ہے تو کیا وہ غسل کرے یا نہیں؟ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: اس پر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں جب وہ تری دیکھے تو ضرور غسل کرے ۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: میں ام سلیم کی طرف متوجہ ہوئی اور میں نے ان سے کہا: تجھ پر افسوس! کیا عورت بھی ایسا دیکھتی ہے؟ اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: عائشہ! تیرا داہنا ہاتھ خاک آلود ہو ۱؎ ( والدین اور ان کی اولاد میں ) مشابہت کہاں سے ہوتی ہے ۔ابوداؤد نے کہا:اور اسی طرح عقیل، الزبیدی، یونس اور الزہری کے بھتیجے نے الزہری کی سند سے اور ابراہیم بن ابی الوزیر نے مالک کی سند سے، الزہری کی سند سے روایت کی ہے۔الزہری نے مصحفی الحجبی سے اتفاق کیا، انہوں نے کہا: عروہ کی سند سے، عائشہ کی روایت سے۔ جہاں تک ہشام بن عروہ کا تعلق ہے، انہوں نے کہا: عروہ کی سند سے، زینب بنت ابی سلمہ کی سند سے، ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہ ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں۔
He remarked with regard to the Ansar: None but the believer loves them, none but the hypocrite hates them. He who loves them loves Allah and he who hates them hates Allah. I (the narrator) said: Did you hear this hadith from al-Bara' رضی اللہ عنہ ? He said: He narrated it to me.

آپ نے انصار کے بارے میں فرمایا : ’’ ان سے محبت نہیں کرتا مگر وہی جو مومن ہےاور ان سے بغض نہیں رکھتا مگر وہی جو منافق ہے ۔ جس سے ان سے محبت کی ، اللہ اس سے محبت کرتا ہے او رجس نے ان سے بغض رکھا اللہ اس سے بغض رکھتا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ شعبہ نے کہا : میں عدی سے پوچھا : کیا تم نے یہ روایت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنی ہے ؟ توانہوں نے جواب دیا : انہوں نے یہ حدیث مجھی کو سنائی تھی ۔
