It was narrated from 'Aishah that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish suffered from Istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: Menstrual blood is blood that is black and recognizable, so if it is like that, then stop praying, and if it is otherwise, then perform Wudu' and pray. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: Others reported this Hadith, and none of them mentioned what Ibn Abi 'Adi mentioned. And Allah Most High, knows best.

فاطمہ بنت ابوحبیش رضی اللہ عنہا کو استحاضہ آتا تھا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: حیض کا خون سیاہ ہوتا ہے اور پہچان لیا جاتا ہے، تو جب یہ خون ہو تو نماز سے رک جاؤ، اور جب دوسرا ہو تو وضو کر کے نماز پڑھو ۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں کہ اس حدیث کو کئی راویوں نے روایت کیا ہے، لیکن جو چیز ابن ابوعدی نے ذکر کی ہے اس کو کسی نے ذکر نہیں کیا، واللہ تعالیٰ اعلم، ( یعنی «دم الحیض دم أسود» کا ذکر کسی اور نے اس سند سے نہیں کیا ہے ) ۔
It was narrated that Nafi' bin 'Abdul-Harith met 'Umar bin Khattab رضی اللہ عنہ in 'Usfan, when 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہ had appointed him as his governer in Makkah.: 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہ asked: Whom have you appointed as your deputy over the people of the valley? He said: I have appointed Ibn Abza over them. 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہ said: Who is Ibn Abza? Nafi' said: One of our freed slaves. 'Umar said: Have you appointed a freed slave over them? Nafi' said: He has great knowledge of the Book of Allah, is well versed in the rules of inheritance (Fara'id) and is a (good) judge. 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہ said: Did not your prophet say: 'Allah raises some people (in status) because of this book and brings others low because of it?'

نافع بن عبدالحارث کی ملاقات عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مقام عسفان میں ہوئی، عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان کو مکہ کا عامل بنا رکھا تھا، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا: تم کس کو اہل وادی ( مکہ ) پر اپنا نائب بنا کر آئے ہو؟ نافع نے کہا: میں نے ان پر اپنا نائب ابن ابزیٰ کو مقرر کیا ہے، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا: ابن ابزیٰ کون ہے؟ نافع نے کہا: ہمارے غلاموں میں سے ایک ہیں ۱؎، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: تم نے ان پہ ایک غلام کو اپنا نائب مقرر کر دیا؟ نافع نے عرض کیا: ابن ابزیٰ کتاب اللہ ( قرآن ) کا قاری، مسائل میراث کا عالم اور قاضی ہے، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اگر بات یوں ہے تو تمہارے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: اللہ تعالیٰ اس کتاب ( قرآن ) کے ذریعہ بہت سی قوموں کو سربلند، اور بہت سی قوموں کو پست کرتا ہے ۔
One day the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had sexual intercourse with (all) his wives with a single bath. Abu Dawud said: This is how it was reported by Hisham tradition has been transmitted through another chain of narrators.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک دن ایک ہی غسل سے اپنی تمام بیویوں کے پاس گئے ۱؎۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اور اسی طرح اسے ہشام بن زید نے انس سے اور معمر نے قتادہ سے، اور قتادہ نے انس سے اور صالح بن ابی الاخضر نے زہری سے اور ان سب نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish suffered from Istihadah and she asked the Prophet (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah, I suffer from Istihadah and I do not become pure; should I stop praying?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when it goes wash the traces of blood from yourself and perform Wudu'. That is a vein and is not menstruation.' It was said to him: What about Ghusl?' He (ﷺ) said: no one doubts that. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: I do not know anyone who mentioned 'and perform Wudu' in this Hadith except Hammad bin Zaid, for some others have reported it from Hisham, and they did not mention 'and perform Wudu' in it.

فاطمہ بنت ابوحبیش رضی اللہ عنہا کو استحاضہ کا خون آیا، تو انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے استحاضہ کا خون آتا ہے، پاک نہیں رہ پاتی ہوں، کیا نماز چھوڑ دوں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ تو ایک رگ ( کا خون ) ہے، حیض نہیں ہے، جب حیض کا خون آئے تو نماز چھوڑ دو، اور جب ختم ہو جائے تو خون کا دھبہ دھو لو، اور وضو کر لو، کیونکہ یہ ایک رگ ( کا خون ) ہے حیض کا خون نہیں ہے ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا: غسل؟ ( یعنی کیا غسل نہ کرے ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس میں کسی کو شک نہیں ہے ( یعنی حیض سے پاک ہونے کے بعد تو غسل کرنا ضروری ہے ہی ) ۔
The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'O Abu Dharr! For you to come out in the morning and learn one Verse from the Book of Allah is better for you than praying one hundred Rak'ah, and for you to come out and learn a matter of knowledge, whether it is acted upon or not, is better for you than praying one thousand Rak'ah.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: ابوذر! اگر تم صبح کو قرآن کی ایک آیت بھی سیکھ لو تو تمہارے لیے سو رکعت پڑھنے سے بہتر ہے، اور اگر تم صبح علم کا ایک باب سیکھو خواہ اس پر عمل کیا جائے یا نہ کیا جائے تو یہ اس سے بہتر ہے کہ تم ایک ہزار رکعت پڑھو ۔
One day the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had intercourse with all his wives. He took a bath after each intercourse. I asked him: Messenger of Allah, why don't you make it a single bath? He replied: This is more purifying, better and cleaning. Abu Dawud said: The tradition narrated by Anas رضی اللہ عنہ is more sound that this tradition.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک دن اپنی بیویوں کے پاس گئے، ہر ایک کے پاس غسل کرتے تھے ۱؎۔ ابورافع کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے آپ سے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ایک ہی بار غسل کیوں نہیں کر لیتے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: یہ زیادہ پاکیزہ، عمدہ اور اچھا ہے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: انس رضی اللہ عنہ کی روایت اس سے زیادہ صحیح ہے ۲؎۔
Both of my ears heard the Messenger of Allah saying this: He who claimed the fatherhood of anyone else besides his real father knowingly (committed a great sin) ;Paradise is forbidden to him. Abu Bakra asserted that he too heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him ).

میرے دونوں کانوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : ’’ جس نے اسلام کی حالت میں اپنے حقیقی باپ کے سوا کسی اور کو باپ بنانے کادعویٰ کیا اور وہ جانتا ہے کہ وہ اس کا باپ نہیں تو اس پر جنت حرام ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ اس پر حضرت ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : خود میں نے بھی رسول اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سےیہی سنا ہے ۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I do not become pure. Should I stop praying? The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: he became sexually defiled at night (asking him what he should do). The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: You should perform ablution and wash your penis and then sleep.

My ears heard and my hearing preserved it that Muhammad (ﷺ) observed: He who claimed for another one his fatherhood besides his own father knowingly that he was not his father-to him Paradise is forbidden.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the daughter of Abu Hubaish said: O Messenger of Allah, I do not become pure, so should I stop praying? He said: No, that is a vein. Khalid said, in what I read from him, [1] And it is not menstruation, so when your period comes, stop praying, and when it goes, wash the blood from yourself and pray. [1] Meaning, before Hisham, from whom he narrates it.

I heard Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan رضی اللہ عنہما narrating the Messenger of Allah said: Goodness is a (natural) habit while evil is a stubbornness (constant prodding from Satan). When Allah wills good for a person, He causes him to understand the religion.'

میں نے معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہما کو بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: خیر ( بھلائی ) انسان کی فطری عادت ہے، اور شر ( برائی ) نفس کی خصومت ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ جس کی بھلائی چاہتا ہے اسے دین میں بصیرت و تفقہ عطاء کرتا ہے ۔
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: Abusing a Muslim is an outrage and fighting against him is unbelief. Zubaid said: I asked Abu Wa'il: Did you hear it from Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہ narrating if from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? He replied: Yes. But there is mention of the talk between Zubaid and Abu Wa'il in the hadith narrated by Shu'ba.

رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ مسلمان کو گالی دینا فسق ہے اور اس سے لڑنا کفر ہے ۔ ‘ ‘ زبید نے کہا : میں نے ابو وائل سے پوچھا : کیا آپ نے عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کو رسول اللہ ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہوئے خود سنا ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : ہاں ۔ شعبہ کی روایت میں زبید کے ابو وائل سے پوچھنے کا ذکر نہیں ہے ۔
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'One Faqih (knowledgeable man) is more formidable against the Shaitan than one thousand devoted worshippers.'

If he intends to eat while he is defiled, he should wash both his hands. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Wahb narrated this tradition on the authority of Yunus. He described the fact of eating as the statement of Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا (not the saying of the prophet). It has also been narrated it from Urwah or Abu Salamah. Al-Awza’I narrated it from Yunus on the Authority of Al-Zuhri from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as narrated by Ibn al-Mubarak.

جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھانے کا ارادہ کرتے اور جنبی ہوتے، تو اپنے ہاتھ دھوتے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے ابن وہب نے بھی یونس سے روایت کیا ہے، اور کھانے کے تذکرہ کو ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کا قول قرار دیا ہے، نیز اسے صالح بن ابی الاخضر نے بھی زہری سے روایت کیا ہے، جیسے ابن مبارک نے کیا ہے، مگر اس میں «عن عروة أو أبي سلمة» ( شک کے ساتھ ) ہے نیز اسے اوزاعی نے بھی یونس سے، یونس نے زہری سے، اور زہری نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے، جیسے ابن مبارک نے کیا ہے۔
Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaiba narrated a hadith like this from the Apostle (ﷺ) on the authority of Abdullah.
