Hadith Record
Narrator: A'mash has narrated this hadith on the same authority and said:
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، قَالَ: قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَرْبَعِ كَلِمَاتٍ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ: «مِنْ خَلْقِهِ» وَقَالَ: حِجَابُهُ النُّورُ.

The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was standing amongst us and he told us four things. He then narrated the hadith like the one reported by Abu Mua'wiya, but did not mention the words His creation and said: His veil is the light.

رسول اللہ ﷺ ہمارے درمیان کھڑے ہو کر چار باتوں پر مشتمل خطبہ دیا ..... پھر جریر نے ابو معاویہ کی حدیث کی طرح بیان کیا اور ’’مخلوقات کو جلا ڈالے ‘ ‘ کے الفاظ ذکر نہیں کیے اور کہا : اس کا پردہ نور ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
