Hadith Record
Narrator: Alī bin Khashram narrated to us, Abū Bakr, meaning Ibn Ayyāsh, informed us:
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ، يَقُولُ: «لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصْدُقُ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ عَنْهُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ»

He said ‘I heard al-Mughīrah saying: ‘There are no Ḥadīth on authority of Alī رضی اللہ عنہ , may Allah be pleased with him, that are confirmed except from the companions of Abdullah bin Mas’ūd رضی اللہ عنہ.’

کہا : میں نے مغیرہ سے سنا ، فرماتے تھے : حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی احادیث میں کسی چیز کی تصدیق نہ کی جاتی تھی ، سوائے اس کے جو عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کے شاگردوں سے روایت کی گئی ہو ۔
