Sprinkling water after ablution
Narrator: It was narrated from Hakam bin Sufyan Ath-Thaqifi رضی اللہ عنہ that:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ، قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدٌ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ كَفًّا مِنْ مَاءٍ فَنَضَحَ بِهِ فَرْجَهُ .

He saw the Messenger of Allah perform ablution then take a handful of water and sprinkle it over his private area to remove any doubts about urine drippings.
